Our story begins not in one place, but three. Across continents and cultures, three distinct paths converged in the heart of Apex, North Carolina, to create Sabatino's Italian Restaurant.

Romor, a professionally trained chef hailing from the vibrant culinary scene of Chicago, carries a wealth of experience, his repertoire spanning the elegant artistry of French cuisine to the comforting traditions of Italian fare. His dedication to culinary excellence forms the foundation of our kitchen.

Antonio, affectionately known as Tony, brings the authentic soul of Southern Italy to our table. Born in the sun-drenched region of Calabria, specifically in the charming town of Cerissi, his earliest and most cherished cooking lessons unfolded in his nana's kitchen, side-by-side with his mother. From those heartfelt beginnings, Tony went on to open three successful restaurants, mastering the time-honored art of crafting the perfect pizza – a skill he's eager to share.

Phil, a true son of Brooklyn, New York, embodies the spirit of the restaurant industry. With years of owning and operating numerous establishments, his expertise extends beyond the dining room. For two decades, Phil has lent his keen eye and practical knowledge to designing and building functional and beautiful kitchens for fellow restaurateurs. His passion for creating welcoming spaces is woven into the very fabric of Sabatino's.

Together, Romor, Tony, and Phil share a common goal: to consistently serve you traditional Italian cuisine, prepared with passion and a touch of something special. From cherished family recipes passed down through generations to innovative dishes inspired by their diverse backgrounds, our menu offers a taste of Italy crafted with care.
